About Ann

Ann Litvin, a former space exploration engineer who professionally designed test equipment for the United States' Minuteman and Apollo Systems is always seeking new, fresh, and innovative ways to get the point across to her students. She is a colorful and dedicated scholar herself, whose diverse interests in arts, theater, opera, ballet and international dance have contributed greatly to her ability to get the point across in academic settings. In her test prep courses, Ann uses mental imagery, sometimes quotes from Broadway shows and even aphorisms from great Shakespearean works to illustrate and prove math and reading comprehension concepts.

During the day, Ann tutors and counsels high school students on standardized SAT, ACT, Proficiency, ELM and GED exams. In the evenings she instructs GRE preparation and also teaches the teachers who teach our children, how to master passing their credentialing exams such as CBEST, CSET and the RICA tests. Above all, Ann reveres the human potential movement and the notion of the importance of fostering belief in self!
